The Global Council

The purpose of the Global Council is to establish a powerful, global professional network representing the IUPF worldwide, particularly in underrepresented regions.

Consisting of representatives from different continents or macro-regions, it is elected by the General Assembly. The Global Council consists of representatives from various parts of the world and is elected by the General Assembly for a single three-year term.

The members of the Global Council represent the IUPF at the global level and are responsible for proposing a five-year strategic plan to be adopted by the General Assembly.

The Global Council acts in accordance with the decisions of the General Assembly, and its organisation and functioning are defined by the Internal Regulations.
